Paul Bowden

Principal Engineer

Paul is EEA's in-house Engineer, responsible for providing technical support to the Carbon & Environment Team on new and existing investments.

Paul has an honours degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Portsmouth, is a Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, and a Chartered Mechanical Engineer.

Paul has over 20 years experience working with various renewable energy technologies worldwide, from 50kW-960MW. During his career responsibilities have covered complete project development from reconnaissance & feasibility study though to procurement, project management, construction and final commissioning. Experience has been gained from working with manufacturers, consultants, developers and utility’s through out his career.

Paul joined EEA during 2008 after 7 years working within the Energy Division of Mott MacDonald Ltd; during this time his responsibilities focussed on project management and technical support to new and refurbished renewable energy projects.
