Norbert is Managing Director of EEA Ireland and Director TEP Solar Holdings. Norbert graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 1976 in Higher Construction Technology and was awarded Companion of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland in 2000. He has served as a board member of the UK Department of Trade and Industry Acorn Trust to establish BSI Standard BS 8555 on environmental management systems. He is a former Director of the European Commission’s Co-ordination Office on Benchmarking Europe's Industrial Competitiveness. Norbert was a partner in the development of an energy management initiative between Europe and Asia leading to the establishment of an accreditation scheme for energy managers and served on the JRC European Science Technology Observatory ESTO, analysing the future of energy, environment and technology needs. He is currently a member of the IIEA Climate Change Group on Government Policy. EEA has committed to building its Irish fund management arm that will see considerable enhanced value to the group from the Irish entity. EEA Ireland oversee on EEA Fund Management’s behalf the financial performance of global investments from the Trading Emissions PLC portfolio.
