Gabriele acts as EEA’s financial structuring expert. Her background is in energy and environmental infrastructure finance. Gabriele has many years of experience in investment finance, risk assessment and structuring in the renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon emission sectors.
Before joining EEA she held a senior position as Investment Manager in the Energy and Environmental Infrastructure Finance Unit of AWS, Austria's state-owned investment finance and guarantee institution. Earlier, she worked in the Energy Efficiency Team of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London focusing on various public and industrial energy efficiency projects in CEE and Central Asia as well as on the Bank’s early Kyoto-related activities. Gabriele is a graduate of the University of Economy of Vienna with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics.
