Camilla Taylor

Investment Adviser

Camilla Taylor leads EEA’s transactions in South America. She manages origination, negotiation and execution of carbon related debt structures and direct equity investments. Camilla has been the lead EEA adviser on behalf of TEP for a major equity investment in a Latin American renewable energy project. She is also responsible for EEA’s activities in the forestry and land use sector.

Prior to joining EEA in 2005, Camilla worked with Vertis Environmental Finance in Budapest, where she was responsible for structuring and executing Joint Implementation and early stage EU Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) transactions and advising Central European companies on carbon finance strategy, JI project development and the financial impacts of EU and international climate change policy. Before joining Vertis, Camilla worked with a consulting group in London advising clients on their participation in the UK ETS.

Camilla holds a Master's in Environmental and Resource Economics from University College London with distinction. Her dissertation analysed the economics of price caps in linked emission trading markets and was short listed for the Environment Agency’s economics master’s dissertation award. Camilla holds an honours degree in Biological Sciences from Oxford University.
